Processing & Pricing

At Arapahoe Meat Company we handle most of your processing needs.  From custom slaughter to wild game processing, we work with each individual to help them understand the breakdown of meat and what you can expect from each animal brought to us along with all the specialty products we can make.

All beef brought in for slaughter need to have a live brand inspection within 2 weeks prior to the date of slaughter. Please contact your local brand inspector (even if the beef is home raised and has no brand). 
 
There is a 7 day pick up policy after your meat is processed. If the meat is not picked up within 7 days we charge a storage fee of $5.00/ day due to limited freezer space. Please be courteous and pick up within the time frame given. 
 
Any meat left for more than 30 days is considered abandoned.

.80/lb based on hanging weight (includes cut, grind, wrap)
slaughter is $50

HOG PROCESSING
.80/lb based on the hanging weight
slaughter is $35
.80/lb for curing and smoking

LAMB & GOAT PROCESSING

$85.00 (includes slaughter, cut, grind, wrap)

ALPACA PROCESSING

$150.00 (includes slaughter, cut, grind, wrap)

GAME PROCESSING

.99/lb based on hanging weight (includes cut, grind, wrap and freeze)

Teriyaki flavored Sticks: $4.50/ lb.
.Jerky:
Original/Hot/Teriyaki/Spicyaki/Jalapeno/BBQ $3.50/lb
.Bulk Sausages: Breakfast, Italian, Chorizo, German Sausage $1.50/lb bulk
.Link any bulk sausages for an additional $1.50/ lb.
Add Green Chili’s, Cheddar, Jalapenos, Roasted Red Peppers to any bulk sausages for an additional .50/ lb.

Add beef OR pork fat for an additional $1.30/ lb.

Anything can be made spicy upon request!
