At Arapahoe Meat Company, we handle most of your processing needs. From custom slaughter of domestic livestock (poultry not included) to wild game processing. 
We work with each individual to help them understand the breakdown of meat and what you can expect from each animals specific cuts along with all the specialty products we can make.

All beef brought in for slaughter needs to have a live brand inspection within one week prior to the date of slaughter. Please contact your local brand inspector (even if the beef is home raised and has no brand).

*There is a 5-day pickup policy after your meat is processed. If the meat is not picked up within 5 business days we charge a storage fee of $10.00/ day due to limited freezer space. Please be courteous and pick up within the time frame given.

*Any meat left for more than 30 days is considered abandoned.

Wild Game Processing: We accept CASH ONLY for all wild game orders, no exceptions.

Pheasant, goose, duck, boar, deer, elk, pronghorn, bear, cougar, goat, moose.

How it works:
  • We accept wild game by appointment only
  • Bring us your clean harvest and include your carcass tag. As per CPW regs, all animals must have carcass tag attached to the carcass
  • Check-in to the front of the shop
  • Give us your name, address, phone number, and carcass tag
  • We assign a tag number and direct you to the back of the building
  • We rinse, hang, and weigh your product as soon as we possibly can. We cannot guarantee immediate weighing
  • There will be an additional charge if we have to clean your game
  • We cut your animal to your specifications
  • We use freezer film and butcher paper for wrapping to lock in long-lasting freshness
  • For burger and sausage, we add beef fat standard unless you direct otherwise
  • We will call you as soon as your product hits the freezer and organize a time for pick-up
  • Game processing is cash only, no exceptions!
